Friends Center for Children advances equity through high-quality early education that nurtures children, empowers families and educators, and strengthens community.

Friends Center for Children provides full-day, year-round early education for children ages three months to kindergarten across New Haven, CT. Rooted in Quaker values, it educates children, empowers families, inspires teachers, and builds equitable, diverse communities that embody peace, integrity, and shared stewardship.

Arbor Rising is partnering with Friends Center for Children management team on a number of deliverables, including:

  • Theory of change — clarifying the population served, scope of intervention, milestones to progress, and long-term outcomes

  • Growth planning — scenario construction and analysis around program expansion
