Jounce Partners equips school leaders with the expertise to skillfully invest in teacher practice.

While class size, district funding, and family involvement are all factors in a student’s development, research has repeatedly shown that teacher effectiveness disproportionally drives student achievement. In order to expand students' opportunities to succeed, Jounce Partners finds, trains and places experienced educators in leadership positions at underserved schools.

Arbor Rising is partnering with the Jounce Partners management team on a number of deliverables, including:

  • Theory of change — clarifying and codifying the population served, scope of intervention, progress milestones and target long-term outcomes

  • Financial modeling — to monitor fundraising and earned income, create multiyear budget projections, and track key programmatic outcomes

  • Growth planning — scenario construction and analysis around program expansion / extension along the Eastern Seaboard
