The Brotherhood / Sister Sol

2016-2018

The Brotherhood/Sister Sol teaches youth to become critical thinkers who live by a moral code, who posses the skills to live independently, and are positive leaders in their communities.

The Brotherhood / Sister Sol delivers a comprehensive suite of programming, including: four to six year "rites of passage" cohorts, five day per week after school care, summer camps, counseling, job training, college preparation, community organizing training, international study programs to Africa and Latin America, and direct employment.

Arbor Rising partnered with the Brotherhood / Sister Sol management team on a number of key deliverables, including:

  • Theory of Change — clarifying the population served, type of intervention, and target outcomes

  • Data Analysis — statistical evaluation of historical outcomes to refine programming and inform marketing efforts
